अंकारा। Turkey Earthquake : तुर्किये और सीरिया में भूकंप के तेज झटकों से मची तबाही के बाद मरने वालों की संख्या 16000 के पार पहुंच गई है। भूकंप की तीव्रता 7.8 होने के चलते वहां कई हजारों इमारतें धराशायी हो गई। आज भी उन इमारतों के नीचे से लोगों को निकालने का बचाव अभियान चलाया जा रहा है।

16000 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत
भूकंप के दो बड़े झटकों के बाद तुर्किये और सीरिया में सड़कों, इमारतों समेत कई हाइवे तक धराशाई हो गए। यहां तक की सड़कों में बड़े-बड़े गड्ढे देखने को मिल रहे हैं। कई बहुमंजिला इमारतों के ढह जाने के चलते अब मृतकों का आंकड़ा 16000 के पार पहुंच गया है। अधिकारियों और चिकित्सकों के अनुसार अकेले तुर्किये में 12,873 और सीरिया में 3,162 लोगों की मौत हुई है। जानकारों का मानना है कि जिस तरह से इमारतों को नुकसान हुआ है और लोगों को मलबे से निकाला जा रहा है, मृतकों की संख्या बढ़ सकती है।
ट्विटर की वापसी (Turkey Earthquake)
दूसरी ओर तुर्किये में भूकंप के बाद ब्लॉक हुए ट्विटर की ऑनलाइन वापसी हो गई है। तुर्किये के प्रमुख मोबाइल नेटवर्क कंपनी द्वारा कम से कम 12 घंटे के लिए ट्विटर को ब्लॉक करने के बाद यह ब्लॉक खत्म किया गया है। बता दें कि घातक भूकंप के बाद सरकार की ऑनलाइन आलोचना के बाद यह कदम उठाया गया था।
3 मीटर तक खिसकी जमीन
भूकंप की तीव्रता तेज होने के चलते तुर्किये के टेक्टोनिक प्लेट्स में बड़ी गतिविधि देखने को मिली है। टेक्टोनिक प्लेट्स में ज्यादा तेज गतिविधियों के कारण जमीन 3 मीटर तक खिसक गई है। बता दें कि जमीन खिसकने के चलते तुर्किये में नदियों की दिशा तक बदलने की आशंका है।
