राहुल ने बताई भारत जोड़ो यात्रा शुरू करने की वजह
राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि कुछ महीने पहले हमने कन्याकुमारी से कश्मीर तक पदयात्रा शुरू की थी। इससे पहले हमने पाया कि राजनीति के लिए अब तक हम जिन सामान्य साधनों का इस्तेमाल करते थे, जैसे जनसभाएं भारत में काम नहीं कर रही थीं। सिर्फ वहीं नहीं उन्होंने आगे कहा कि हमें जितने भी उपकरणों की जरूरत थी, उन पर भाजपा और आरएसएस का नियंत्रण था। लोगों को डराया जाता है और हमने यह भी पाया कि इस तरह से हमारे लिए राजनीतिक रूप से काम करना मुश्किल था। यही कारण था कि हमने भारत के सबसे दक्षिणी छोर से चलने का फैसला किया।
राहुल ने कहा कि भारत में कुछ लोगों को यह भ्रम है कि वे सब कुछ जानते हैं। भारत में हम विभिन्न भाषाओं, विभिन्न धर्मों के लोगों के साथ बड़े हुए हैं और इसी पर हमला किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि भारत में परंपरा यह रही है कि आपको किसी के प्रभाव में नहीं आना चाहिए। यह एक बीमारी है कि भारत के कुछ समूह सोचते हैं कि वे सब कुछ जानते हैं। यहां तक कि अगर वे भगवान के साथ बातचीत करते हैं, तो वे उन्हें समझा सकते हैं।

भारत जोड़ो यात्रा रोकने का आरोप
राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि सरकार ने उनकी भारत जोड़ो यात्रा’ को रोकने के लिए हरसंभव प्रयास किया, लेकिन उनकी ये यात्रा आगे बढ़ती रही। उन्होंने कहा कि पांच-छह दिन के बाद हमने महसूस किया कि 4 हजार किमी चलना आसान बात नहीं है। मेरे घुटने में पुरानी चोट थी, जिसमें दर्द हो रहा था, लेकिन मैंने खुद से कहा कि मेरे पास दर्द के बावजूद चलने के अलावा कोई चारा नहीं है। फिर एक हैरान कर देने वाली बात हुई। मैंने ध्यान देना शुरू किया कि और 25 किमी चलने के बाद मुझे बिल्कुल भी थकान नहीं हो रही थी।
